Adjusting Front Wheel Tread
4x4 front axle tread with reversible rims can be adjusted repositioning
or changing the rims or inverting wheel disks.
Tread can also be adjusted switching the entire wheel to opposite
side of tractor. (This maneuver allows a concave to convex wheel position
change without having to disassemble them).
When changing rear wheels from one side to the other of front
axle with 4x4 wheel drive, the arrow on the tire must be pointing
in direction of forward travel.
The relation between wheel disk and rim with different treads
is illustrated in the continuation of this manual.
Carefully study diagrams before changing tread as this
will reduce effort when performing this task.
After adjusting space between front wheels, tighten
nuts between disk and rim and between disk and hub. Drive tractor
about 100 meters (328.1 ft.) and retighten nuts to specification.
