Using Correct Tire Combinations
In order to obtain maximum drawbar traction, maintain adequate
steering control, reduce tire wear and fuel consumption use the correct
tire combinations listed in the product specifications. To do so,
see (Specifications—Wheel Configurations).
If front tires with 4x4 front-wheel drive suffer excessive wear
compared with rear tires, replace front tires to maintain specified
ratio between tires.
If you replace tires, always consult your John Deere
dealership. Combining worn and new tires or tires with different diameter
or radius under load may reduce tire service life or reduce tractor
performance. Using any tire combination different from those indicated
may cause premature wear of tires or drive train due to excessive
or insufficient speed.
