Checking Front-Wheel Drive Axle Oil Level

Park tractor on a plain surface to ensure correct oil level.


Front Axle Final Drive

    4x4 Front Axle—ZF

    Make sure oil refill and drain plug (A) of final drive is in three o'clock position.


  2. Remove plug (A). Oil level should reach threaded edge of hole.

  3. If necessary, add oil recommended in Section (Fuel, Lubricants and Coolant) until level is reached.

  4. Reinstall oil refill and drain plug (A) and tighten to specification:
    Oil Refill and Drain Plug (A)Torque150 N·m (105 lb.-ft.)

Remove differential filler plug (A).

Oil level should reach threaded edge of hole.

If necessary, add oil recommended in Section (Fuel, Lubricants and Coolant) until level is reached.

Reinstall filler plug (A) and tighten to specification:
Filler Plug (A)Torque150 N·m (105 lb.-ft.)
