Warming Up the Engine
CQ224770-UN-09JUL04
Do not operate the engine on full load until it has
fully warmed up. Allowing the engine to idle at low rpm uses fuel
inefficiently and can cause a build-up of carbon in the engine.
Do not subject the tractor to a full load until the engine has
fully warmed up. To warm up the engine, run with hand throttle halfway
open until operating temperature is reached.
If the tractor is stopped with the engine running for three
to four minutes, or more, the engine speed must not be lower than
1,200 rpm.
The engine must run at a speed above slow speed until
the cooling system temperature surpasses 20°C (68°F).
