Installing Front Counterweights

Tractor allows a maximum quantity of 10 counterweights (C) at base (A).

Tighten attaching bolts (B) to 600 N m (440 lb-ft).

Each additional counterweight weighs 40 kg (88 lbs).

A weight increase of 10 Kg (22 lb) ballasts the front axle 12 kg (26 lb) approx.

If it is necessary to tow the tractor or free a mired machine or great drawing force is required use draw bar "at rear of tractor".


Installing 2 to 8 Front Weights

    Install pin (A) to front support (C) and attach through cotter pin (B).


  2. Install required quantity of weights (G) to front support (C).

    Front weights (G) may be installed to front support (C) at both sides as there is no defined mounting side.

  3. Attach front weights through bolt (D), with washers (E) and nut (F). Insert bolt (D) from right-hand to left-hand side.

  4. Tighten nut (F) to specification.

    Left-Hand Attaching Support

    Install pin (A) to front support (C) and attach through cotter pin (B).


  2. Install required quantity of weights (G) to front support (C).

    Front weights (G) may be installed to front support (C) at both sides as there is no defined mounting side.

  3. Installing supports (F):
    Install supports (F) next between last and last but one weight, on both sides.
    Right-Hand side support:The side of support (F) that has a welded nut must point upward with the nut pointing towards right-hand side.
    Left-Hand side support:The side of support (F) that has a welded nut must point downward with the nut pointing towards left-hand side.

  4. Installing bolts (D):
    Install bolts (D) with washers (E) on both sides of weights (G). Install them to lower right-hand side hole in weights and to upper left-hand side hole in weights.

  5. Tighten bolts (D) to specified torque.
