Differential Lock Use

DO NOT run tractor at high speeds nor try to make turns with differential lock engaged.

To prevent damage to differential lock assembly, do not engage differential lock when one wheel is spinning and the other is completely stopped.

Cab Tractors

When a wheel begins to lose traction, step on pedal (A) to engage differential lock.

Unequal traction between wheels maintains differential lock engaged. When traction is equal again, the differential lock disengages automatically through spring action.

If lock does not disengage, step on one brake pedal followed by the other.

If the tires slip, recover traction and then slip again, keep pedal in engaged position.
