Operating the Power Take-Off (PTO)

Always disengage the power take-off when not in use.

Equipment attached to power take-off in rotation does not stop immediately when lever is set to disengaged position. Do not approach the equipment until all moving parts have come to a complete stop.

Move lever (A) forward to engage power take-off. Warning light (B) comes on on the instrument panel to indicate that the power take-off is engaged.

Move lever (A) backward to disengage power take-off.

If engine is shut off with power take-off engaged, it does not start again unless lever (A) is set to disengaged position.
