  1. Position power take-off lever (A) backwards (disengaged position).
  2. Remove pin (B) from front end of rod/cable of power take-off clutch.
  3. Loosen lock nut (C) from rear part of clevis (F).
  4. Adjust rod/cable length (E) so as to eliminate play. On tractors with open operator's platform, power take-off actuation is performed through a rod while on cab tractors actuation ir performed through a steel cable.

Increase rod/cable length turning clevis (F) two turns, so as to provide a small play for the lever.

This leaves the clutch bearing free when it is not engaged.

  5. Reinstall pin (B) to clevis (F) and arm (D).
  6. Make sure there is an equal quantity of threads on each end of power take-off clutch actuation rod. The rear part of the lock nut can be loosened and the rod turned to even the number of threads (this does not affect the power take-off adjustment).
  7. Retighten lock nuts (C) on each rod/cable end.
