Installing Water Ballasting to Tires
CQ294118-UN-28AUG12
Lift wheel with a jack and rotate wheel until valve is at
upper part of tire. Replace air valve for one that permits water entry.
As the tire is filled with water the air is expelled through the bleed
tube. The water filling process will take from 15 to 30 minutes, depending
on tire size.
Then, replace valve with an air valve and pump up tire to normal
inflation pressure. Capacities vary according to wheel size and brand.
If necessary, see your John Deere dealer or tire distributor.
In cold climate an antifreeze product, such as calcium chloride,
may be added to the water as specified, per liter of water.
