Replacing Fuel Line Filter

Fuel line filter (B) only is equipped on 5075E tractor with open operator's platform and on 5078E, 5085E, and 5090E cab tractors.

Always shut off engine, set parking brake and remove key before carrying out service tasks on fuel filters.

    Cab Tractors

    Unfasten screw (A) of clamp that secures fuel line filter (B).


  2. Loosen screws (C) of fuel hoses.

  3. Remove and properly dispose of fuel line filter (B).

  4. Install new filter and tighten clamps firmly.

If engine performance loss occurs again, replace fuel line filter (B) once more and perform a lab test of fuel used.
