Cleaning Cab Air Recirculation Filters

Tractor air-conditioning system filters were not manufactured to retain hazardous chemical products. Follow the instructions in the implement operator's manual and those given by the chemical manufacturer when using agricultural chemicals.

Cab air recirculation filters are located in the cab roof and are accessed from inside the cab.

  1. Remove cover (A).

  2. Remove wing nut (B) and support (C).

  3. Remove recirculation filter (D).

  4. Back flush filter with compressed air.

    The air must be dry and the maximum pressure allowed is 5 bar (72.5 psi).
    Ensure that contaminant does not enter or come in contact with the clean side of the filter.

  5. Reinstall components following reverse order of removal.

  6. Carry out procedure described above on both sides of cab.

    Cleaning filters may be required more often in dusty conditions.
