Lubricating Front Axle King Pins (4WD Axle)

Lubricate daily if operating the tractor in extremely conditions.

  1. Park tractor on level terrain.

    A - Grease fitting (4 used)


  2. Turn steering wheel to the right or left until it reaches the steering stop.

  3. Clean grease fittings (A).

    If necessary, replace damaged grease fittings.

  4. Lubricate grease fittings (A) at end of front axles.

    Use John Deere grease as specified in Fuels, Lubricants, and Coolant Section.
