These hitches can be adjusted up or down according to implement height and to obtain clearance for center link or PTO operation.

Trailer hitches with different dimensions may be available in certain countries. Tractor can be equipped with different hitch versions which are operated in different ways.

CAUTION: Use the Manual EEC hitch system for trailers with non-pivoting towing eyes only.

Use the CUNA hitch system for trailers with pivoting towing eyes only.

IMPORTANT: Use only trailers with a towing eye that matches the hitch pin diameter [40 mm (1.58 in.)].

Adjust Height and Operate Hitch:

1. Height of all hitches can be adjusted using quick release lever (A). Support hitch with one hand while moving to the required position.
2. Make sure that side locking pins have fully engaged in side support slots.
3. Manual EEC, CUNA-C, and CUNA-D2 type hitches are operated by handle (B).

Maximum permissible static vertical loads and towable loads are stated in “Specifications” section.

NOTE: Have components that are subject to wear checked and replaced (if necessary) by your John Deere dealer (see ”Service Every 300 Hours”).
