Change Transmission-Hydraulic Oil and Filter

IMPORTANT: Use a drain pan to capture oil from reservoir and filter. Dispose of waste oil properly.

1. Lower rear hitch to remove trapped oil.

2. PARK tractor on level ground and shut off engine. Remove key.

3. Remove transmission-oil drain plug (B). Drain oil out.

4. Remove transmission-hydraulic filter (A) from filter base.

5. Clean threads on filter base and on new filter with transmission-hydraulic oil.

6. IMPORTANT: DO NOT over tighten filter.

   Apply oil to new filter seal and install filter (A). Tighten filter by hand, then tighten an additional 1/8 turn.

7. Apply TEFLON® or equivalent on thread of drain plug (B).

8. Install drain plug (B).

   Transmission Oil	Capacity	53 L (14 gal)

   Remove oil filler cap (C) and fill system with transmission-hydraulic oil.

10. Check oil level with dipstick (D) and again after five minutes of operation.
