The three-point front hitch is operated with rear SCV II.

A - Draft Link Locking Pin

CAUTION: When implements with asymmetrical load (e.g. side mounted mowing unit) are attached, or when driving through high-growing bushes, and trees (e.g. when working in the forest), the draft links must be prevented from opening accidently.

Use draft link locking pins (A) at both coupler hooks.

CAUTION: If rear SCV II is equipped with additional couplers for the operation of a rear implement, multi-valve must be in setting (A) to block flow to front hitch.

NOTE: When a chain is used to limit the cutting height on a mowing unit, avoid damage by selecting setting (B). Also, set SCV II to float position for lowering mower unit.

Couplers

A - SCV I/III Extend

B - SCV I/III Retract

Couplers (A and B) are provided with oil via rear SCV.

If tractor is equipped with a dual rear SCV, oil is supplied from SCV I.

If tractor is equipped with a triple rear SCV, oil is supplied from SCV III.

CAUTION: SCV I or III must not be equipped with additional couplers toward rear.

CAUTION: The hydraulic system has a maximum system pressure of 20,000 kPa (200 bar; 2900 psi). For your protection and to assure proper functioning of the system, use only genuine John Deere parts.

The couplers allow hydraulic hose to be connected and disconnected only if no pressure is present.

To connect hose union, press it firmly into coupler. To disconnect, give it a firm pull.
