Replace Fuel Filter

1. IMPORTANT: Be sure characteristics of new filter match the original filter.

   NOTE: 5075M is equipped with a single fuel filter located on left-hand side of tractor.

   A - Retaining Ring

   B - Fuel Filter

   C - Fuel Pre-Filter (Except 5075M)

   D - Drain Plug

   E - Water Separator Bowl

   Place tractor in park, turn off engine, and remove key. Allow engine to cool.

2. Raise hood.

3. Open drain plugs (D) on fuel filter (B) and water separator bowl (E). Drain fuel.

4. Lift and rotate retaining ring (A) counterclockwise. Remove ring with filters (B and C).

5. Remove water separator bowl (E) from fuel pre-filter (C).

6. Clean separator. Dry with compressed air.

   Install water separator bowl (E) on new filter.

7. Install new filter assemblies. Tighten retaining ring hand-tight.

8. Bleed the fuel system. (See Bleed Fuel System in Section 110.)

9. Start engine and run until warm.

10. Turn off engine and remove key.

11. Inspect drain plugs and filters for leaks.

12. Lower hood.

    NOTE: Two fuel filters (B and C) are different, do not interchange. Replace one after another to avoid interchange.
