Replace Alternator Belt (5075M)

   Alternator Belt Routing (5075M)

   A - Alternator Cap Screw

   B - Alternator Bolt

   C - Alternator

   Remove A/C compressor belt and air compressor belt, if equipped. (See procedure in this section.)
2. Loosen cap screw (A), bolt (B), and rotate alternator (C) to free belt.
3. Remove belt from crankshaft pulley and coolant pump pulley.
4. Belt can be pulled around fan to remove.
5. Install new belt in reverse order of removal.
6. Adjust belt tension. (See Inspect and Adjust Alternator Belt (5075M) in Maintenance—Every 300 Hours section.)
