Change MFWD Axle Wheel Hub Oil—If Equipped

   A - Oil Level

   B - Drain/Fill Plug

   Park tractor on level surface, with wheel rotated until drain/fill port plug (B) at bottom of hub.

2. Remove plug (B) and drain oil.

3. After oil has drained, move and park tractor so that “OIL LEVEL” mark at drain/fill port (B) is parallel to ground.

4. Add oil until it reaches level (A) at bottom of drain/fill plug (B). (See MFWD Axle Housing and Wheel Hub Oil in Section 100 Fuel, Lubricants and Coolants.)

   NOTE: Approximate MFWD wheel hub oil capacity is 0.8 L (0.2112 gal).

5. Apply pipe sealant with TEFLON® or equivalent to threads of plug (B).

6. Install plug and tighten to specifications.
