Change MFWD Axle Housing Oil—If Equipped

A - Fill Plug

B - Drain Plug

1. Park tractor on level ground and SHUT OFF engine. Remove key.

2. Open both plugs (A and B).

3. After oil is drained, apply TEFLON® or equivalent on threads of drain plug (B).

4. Install plug (B) and tighten to specifications.

5. Add oil until even with bottom of fill plug (A). (See MFWD Axle Housing and Wheel Hub Oil in Section 100 Fuel, Lubricants and Coolants.)

   NOTE: Approximate MFWD axle housing oil capacity is 5 L (1.32 gal).

6. Apply TEFLON® or equivalent on threads of fill plug (A).

7. Install fill plug (A) and tighten to specification.
