A - Left-Hand Reverser Lever

SERVICE INTERVAL
	Weekly or 50 Hour

CAUTION: Do not leave seat with the engine running and PTO engaged. PTO does not disengage automatically and sounds an audible alarm for approximately 5 seconds.

1. Hold left-hand reverser lever (A) in Neutral or place in Park position, machine starts.

2. Hold left-hand reverser in the Forward or Reverse position, machine does not start.

   CAUTION: If machine starts while left-hand reverser is held in the Forward or Reverse positions, see your John Deere dealer immediately for repairs.

3. Place left-hand reverser in Park.

4. Turn off machine.

5. Engage the rear PTO.

6. If a PTO implement is not attached, have another person observe PTO driveshaft for rotation.

7. Start engine. Engine starts, but PTO does not rotate.

   CAUTION: If PTO rotates when starting engine. See your John Deere dealer immediately for repairs.
