Access and Replace Battery

Remove Right-Hand Steps

A - Position Bolts

B - Retaining Bolts

C - Steps

1. Loosen but do not remove position bolts (A).

2. Remove retaining bolts (B).

3. Pull step assembly upward and away from the machine to remove.

Remove Battery Hold Down

A - Nut

B - Retaining Bolt

C - Hold Down Bracket

1. Remove nut (A) from retaining bolt (B).

2. Remove hold down bracket (C) and retaining bolt.

Remove and Replace Battery

NOTE: Verify battery orientation when replacing. Battery cables will not reach battery posts if battery is installed incorrectly.

B - Battery Slide Out Tray

C - Negative Battery Cable

D - Positive Battery Cable

E - Bottom Step

1. Pull battery (A) and slide out tray (B) away from the battery compartment.

2. Set battery on bottom step (E).

3. Disconnect the negative battery cable (C).

4. Disconnect the positive battery cable (D).

5. Test or remove battery as required.

6. Replace battery in opposite order.
