NOTE: Foot pedal must be depressed a minimum of 1/4 of travel
for pedal lock to function. If foot pedal lock does not engage, ensure
that foot pedal is depressed enough and retry.
The foot throttle pedal lock feature allows the operator to
set a desired pedal position when driving in the field. This option
helps to reduce operator fatigue when extended periods of foot pedal
usage are required. To engage foot pedal lock:
-
Drive machine using the foot throttle (B) at desired speed.
Foot throttle command must be at least 10% higher than hand throttle
command.
-
Depress and release the foot throttle lock button (A). Holding
button for more than 1 second aborts function.
-
Completely release the foot throttle immediately after pressing
the foot throttle lock button. Pedal does not remain in place and
returns to top position. Holding the foot throttle in any engaged
position for more than 1 second aborts the function.
-
Foot pedal mode indicator appears on the primary display, indicating
that it is active.
-
Machine operates at throttle lock position until one of the
following occurs:
-
Depress the foot throttle lock button.
-
Depress brake pedal or pedals.
-
Hand or foot throttle command is 90% or higher of set foot throttle
lock position.
-
Machine is placed in park.
