IMPORTANT: Capture operating conditions, machine performance, and environment whenever any alert or alarm is active. Use information to self-correct operation or contact your John Deere dealer for assistance.

Alarm conditions are visually communicated using alert indicators for stop (A), service (B), information (C). Information display acts as a visual, user interface for machine alarms (D) to operator.

Audible alarms (beeping or continuous) accompany alert indicators and/or information display data.

STOP alert indicator (A) represents an urgent warning. Immediate attention or service is required in order to prevent serious malfunction or damage. Engine or function shuts down. Do not continue operation. Contact your John Deere dealer to diagnose the problem.

Service alert indicator (B) represents a performance/protection warning. Immediate attention or operation is required in order to prevent reduced performance or cause a malfunction or damage. Adjust operating conditions or conduct maintenance. Contact your John Deere dealer as needed.

Information alert indicator (C) represents an informational warning. Attention or adjustment may be required in order to maintain performance and prevent a more severe alert condition. Adjust operating conditions or conduct maintenance. Contact your John Deere dealer as needed.

Information display alarm (D) shows the operator several information elements. They are the alarm severity icon (K), function icon (E), message (J), acknowledgement (I), quantity (H), diagnostic trouble code (G), and control unit abbreviation (F). Each element of an alarm is related to machine features and functions (lighting, PTO, transmission, engine, hitch, brakes, MFWD, SCV, and more).

The information display also displays notifications such as: Operator out of seat. Severity levels for alarms are as followed from highest level of priority to the lowest:

  • Stop Indicator (A)
  • Operator out of seat
  • Warning Indicator (B)
  • Information Indicator (C)
