A - Gear Shift Lever

B - Range Shift Lever

C - Hand Throttle

D - Rockshaft Position Control Lever

E - Electro-Hydraulic Directional Reverser

IMPORTANT: Tractor must be stopped before placing gear shift lever in park “P” or neutral “N” position. Park pawl will not engage, and transmission may be damaged, if Tractor is moving.

  1. Stop the tractor travel with brakes.

CAUTION: Always place the gear shift lever in park “P” position and engage hand brake before dismounting. Leaving transmission in gear with engine stopped NOT prevent tractor from moving.

  2. Depress clutch pedal and place gear shift lever (A) in park “P” position, and range shift lever (B) in neutral “N” position.

  3. PR: Place reverser lever (E) into neutral “N” position.

  4. Lower all equipment to ground using rockshaft control lever (D).

  5. Put all SCV levers in neutral.

  6. Disengage PTO.

  7. Pull hand throttle (C) back to slow idle position. Allow engine to idle for one to two minutes.

IMPORTANT: Cooling of certain engine parts is provided by engine oil. Stopping a hot engine suddenly could cause damage to these parts by over heating or lack of lubrication.

  8. Turn key switch to the “STOP” position.

CAUTION: Remove main switch key to prevent operation by untrained personnel.
