Check Coolant Level

TS281-UN-15APR13

PY13173-UN-20OCT12
A - Radiator cap
B - Coolant tank
|
Service Interval — Every 10 hours
|
CAUTION: Only remove radiator cap (A) when engine is cold. Slowly
loosen cap to first stop to relieve pressure before removing completely.
IMPORTANT: Periodically check coolant level in radiator. If
cap should become defective, coolant would not be drawn from recovery
tank, and could cause the engine to overheat. Replace cap as necessary.
-
Check level in coolant tank (B).
-
If engine is cool and level is below “LOW” add coolant
to recovery tank to bring to “LOW”. (See Fuels, Lubricants,
and Coolants section).
