A - Filler plug

B - Drain plug

Service Intervals:

• At First 100 hours • Every 1000 hours

IMPORTANT: Only use an oil that is approved for this axle type.

1. PARK tractor on level ground and SHUT OFF engine. Remove key.

2. Open both plugs (A and B).

3. After oil drained, apply thread sealant on threads of drain plug (B).

4. Install plug (B) and tighten to specifications.

5. Add oil until even with bottom of filler plug (A). (See Transmission, Steering, Brake, Hydraulic, and Gear Case Oil in Fuels, Lubricants, and Coolants section).

   NOTE: Approximate MFWD axle housing oil capacity is 5 L (1.32 gal.).

6. Apply thread sealant on threads of filler plug (A).

7. Install filler plug (A) and tighten to specification.
