Diagnostic Trouble Code Mode

In Diagnostic Trouble Code mode, all active and previously active Diagnostic Trouble Codes are displayed automatically without entering the menu.

NOTE: Diagnostic Trouble Codes are displayed as soon as on-board diagnostics are accessed.

DISPLAY	DESCRIPTION
A - Control Unit	CCU, ICC, PR
B - DTC Status	A — Active DTC PA — Inactive DTC
C - DTC	Diagnostic Trouble Code number XXXXXX.XX

If the control unit software detects a malfunction or a status “out of the permissible range”, a diagnostic trouble code is displayed consisting of the control software and a number. The numbers to the left of the decimal point show the suspect parameter number and the numbers to the right of the decimal point show the failure mode indicator. These numbers identify the machine system and problem type.

Whenever a STOP or a Service Alert indicator is displayed, switch the transmission to the park position and shut down the engine. The information display does not display a solution. Contact the John Deere™ dealer to solve the problem.
