Avoid personal injury or death. Reduce speed when driving
on icy, wet, or graveled surfaces. Use correct ballast to avoid loss
of steering control. MFWD greatly increases traction,
but it does not increase the stability of the machine. Use extra caution
on slopes.
If the machine is under full load and mired down,
engaging MFWD while tires are spinning has the potential to cause
damage. Reducing the load and slowing wheel speed before engaging
MFWD is highly recommended.
MFWD can be engaged and disengaged in all gears (forward and
reverse) during operation and under full load. Switch (A) has three
operating positions.
