Parking the Machine

Before leaving operator's station, do the following:

1. Park machine on a level surface.

2. Lower all equipment to the ground.

IMPORTANT: Turbocharger may be damaged if engine is not properly shut down.

3. Move FNR range lever (A) to neutral "N".

causym CAUTION: Prevent possible injury from unexpected machine movement. NEVER rely on FNR range lever alone to keep machine from moving. Machine can unexpectedly roll or move under power, resulting in death or serious injury. Always set park brake to hold machine.

If you park the machine on a slope, put blocks against wheels to prevent machine movement.

4. Set park brake (B).

5. Operate engine at 1/2 speed without load for two minutes.

6. Move speed control lever (C) to slow idle position.

7. Turn key switch to OFF position to stop engine. Remove key from switch.

NOTE: It is normal for STOP-engine indicator light and park brake indicator light to stay on until engine stops after key switch is turned to OFF.

8. Move hydraulic control levers until equipment does not move to release hydraulic pressure.
