Leveling Machine

Provide a firm, level location for the machine when using backhoe.

1. Level work site.

2. Lower stabilizers to level machine, provide side-to-side and front-to-rear stability, and take load off rear tires.

Clearance between tires and ground should be minimal.

One stabilizer may be lower than the other.

3. With loader bucket in return-to-dig position, lower loader bucket until weight of machine is off front tires. If desired, add material in bucket for additional counterweight.

Position loader bucket in fully dumped position when ground surface is icy, wet, or rocky.

Do not dig under the stabilizers.
