Clean Cab Fresh Air Filter and Recirculating Air Filter

1. On machines (S.N. -872256), open filter access compartment (A).

On machines (S.N. 872257- ), release two latches (A).

2. Remove recirculating air filter (B). Replace if damaged.

3. Remove cab fresh air filter (C). Replace if damaged.

causym CAUTION: Prevent possible injury from flying chips. Reduce compressed air to less than 210 kPa (2.1 bar) (30 psi) when using for cleaning purposes. Clear area of bystanders, guard against flying chips, and wear personal protection equipment including eye protection.

4. Clean filter(s) by using one of the following procedures:

  • Tap filter(s) on a flat surface with the dirty side down.
  • Use compressed air opposite to the normal air flow.
  • Wash the filter(s) in warm, soapy water. Flush the filter(s). Let filter(s) dry before using the air conditioner.

5. Install filter(s) and close filter access compartment.

NOTE: DO NOT use as a storage compartment. Blockage of airflow through the filter housing can cause damage to the heating/air-conditioner system.
