Check Accumulator

causym CAUTION: Prevent possible injury from high pressure gas, the accumulator is charged with nitrogen gas under high pressure. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SERVICE OR DISCONNECT THE ACCUMULATOR. See your authorized dealer for service.

For Machines (S.N. -872256)

1. Run engine until hydraulic oil is at normal operating temperature.

2. Stop engine.

3. Wait 10 to 15 minutes.

4. Apply each brake pedal nine times at 5 second intervals.

5. If brakes pedal travel is not assisted by accumulator pressure, the brake circuit needs service. See your authorized dealer.

For Machines (S.N. 872257- )

1. Start engine.

2. Hold right pedal down and pump left pedal 15-20 times.

3. Hold left pedal down and pump right pedal 15-20 times.

4. Release pedals, shut engine off and turn key to ON position.

5. Pump right pedal until low pressure light comes on (6-8 times).

6. Start engine to recharge accumulators.

7. Repeat steps 4 and 5 pumping the left pedal until light comes on.

NOTE: After performing steps 1-7, if the low pressure light does not illuminate, see your authorized dealer.

NOTE: If the low pressure light does not shut off when the engine is running, see your authorized dealer.

NOTE: The machine will stop after accumulator pressure is depleted, the braking action is done in a manual mode. Additional foot pressure on the pedals will be required to stop the machine.
