Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge
Engine coolant temperature gauge needle will enter red zone (A), STOP indicator will light, and alarm will sound when engine coolant is above 115°C (240°F). Do not stop engine when engine coolant overheats, or temperature will rise higher. Reduce load and run engine at slow idle. If gauge needle does not fall to an acceptable operating level after 1-2 minutes, stop engine and allow to cool before servicing.
