Change MFWD Front Axle Housing Oil-If Equipped

NOTE: Dispose of drain oil properly.

MFWD axle housing is filled with API GL-5 gear oil at the factory. Fill MFWD axle housing with HY-GARD oil to fill to proper level.

1. Remove drain plug (A) to drain oil. Dispose of waste oil properly.

2. Install drain plug.

3. Remove check plug (B) and add oil so it is level with bottom of check plug hole. (See Fuels and Lubricants chapter.)

4. Install check plug.
