Welding on Machine

IMPORTANT: Disconnect battery ground cables to prevent voltage spikes from damaging alternator or dash instruments.

Connect welder ground clamp close to each weld area so electrical current does not arc inside any bearings.

NOTE: The toolbox must be removed to access the battery box. See Removing Batteries in this chapter for toolbox removal instructions.
