Operating Stabilizers

causym CAUTION: Prevent possible injury from unexpected machine movement. Stabilizers must be set on a firm surface. Do not dig under stabilizers. Be alert to possible machine movement when raising stabilizers and loader bucket.

Before operating the backhoe, use stabilizers to lift and level the machine. Use the levers to move stabilizers from raised position (A and C) to lowered position (B and D).

Stabilizer feet are reversible for use on paved and unpaved surfaces. (See Reversing Stabilizer Feet in this chapter for reversal instructions.)
