Clean Air Cleaner Primary Element

1. Tap element with the palm of your hand, NOT ON A HARD SURFACE.

causym CAUTION: Prevent possible injury from flying debris. Reduce compressed air to less than 690 kPa (6.9 bar) (100 psi) when using for cleaning purposes. Clear area of bystanders, guard against flying debris, and wear personal protection equipment, including eye protection.

IMPORTANT: Do not clean secondary element. Replace secondary element, if necessary. (See Replace Air Cleaner Elements in Maintenance-Every 1000 Hours chapter.)

2. If this does not remove dust, use compressed air under 690 kPa (6.9 bar) (100 psi).

3. Direct air up and down the pleats from inside to outside. Be careful not to break the element.
