Change Hydraulic Reservoir Oil

2. Move backhoe and stabilizers to transport position and lower loader bucket to ground. Stop engine.

3. Remove hydraulic reservoir fill cap (B).

4. Remove cap screw (C) and bracket (D). Route drain hose (E) into a suitable container.

5. Remove cap (F) from end of drain hose and drain oil. Allow adequate time for oil to drain. Dispose of waste oil properly.

Specification

6. Replace hydraulic oil filter. (See Replace Hydraulic Oil Filter in Maintenance-Every 500 Hours chapter.)

7. Install cap on drain hose.

8. Route drain hose for storage. Install bracket and cap screw.

9. Refill hydraulic reservoir. (See Fuels and Lubricants chapter.)

10. Check oil level.

11. Install hydraulic reservoir fill cap.
