Check Instruments Before Starting

Turn key switch clockwise to ON. (Do not start engine.) The following must occur:

  • The audible alarm must sound twice.
  • All LCD segments in the display window (B) must light.

    E-Fuel Level Gauge
    F-STOP Indicator
    G-Engine Oil Pressure Indicator
    H-Alternator Voltage Indicator
    I-Engine Air Filter Restriction Indicator
    J-Seat Belt Indicator
    K-Park Brake Indicator
    L-Hydraulic Oil Temperature Indicator
    M-Hydraulic Oil Filter Restriction Indicator
    N-Service Brake Low Pressure Indicator

  • All gauges (C-E) must be backlit, and all gauge needles must cycle from minimum (left) to maximum (right) in approximately one second.
  • All indicators (F-N) must light for five seconds. With the engine not running, the engine oil pressure indicator (G) and alternator voltage indicator (H) must remain lit after other indicators go out.

If any indicator fails to light, check the bulb. If bulb is good but indicator still fails to light, see your authorized dealer.
