Drain Water and Sediment from Fuel System—755C
NOTE: Drain the fuel water separator before draining the final
fuel filter.
When draining water and sediment from the fuel system:

Drain water and sediment from the fuel water separator. (See
Drain Fuel Water Separator in this procedure.)
-
Drain water and sediment from the final fuel filter. (See Drain
Final Fuel Filter in this procedure.)
-
Drain water and sediment from the fuel tank, if necessary. (See
Drain Fuel Tank in Maintenance chapter.)
-
Bleed the fuel system. (See Bleed Fuel System in Maintenance
chapter.)
Drain Fuel Water Separator
-
IMPORTANT: If fuel water separator contains a large amount of
water or sediment, replace it. (See Replace Fuel Filters—755C
in Maintenance—Every 500 Hours chapter.)
NOTE: Drain waste into a container. Dispose of waste properly.

A - Bleed Screw
B - Drain Knob
Put a suitable container under the fuel water separator.
-
Loosen the bleed screw (A) 2 full turns. Loosen the drain knob
(B). Drain liquid for several seconds, until clean fuel emerges.

Tighten bleed screw and drain knob.

Drain the final fuel filter. (See Drain Final Fuel Filter in
this procedure.) Drain sediment from the fuel tank, if appropriate.
Bleed the fuel system. (See Maintenance chapter.)
Drain Final Fuel Filter
-
IMPORTANT: If final fuel filter contains a large amount of water
or sediment, replace it. (See Replace Fuel Filters—755C in Maintenance—Every
500 Hours chapter.)
NOTE: Drain waste into a container. Dispose of waste properly.
