Clean Air Cleaner Unloader Valve

NOTE: A missing, damaged or hardened unloader valve will cause the air filter elements to be ineffective. Valve should suck closed above 1/3 engine speed.

1. Remove and clean air cleaner unloader valve (A). If plugged, inspect filter elements. Clean, if necessary.

2. Install air cleaner unloader valve. (See Replace Unloader Valve in Maintenance-Every 1000 Hours chapter.)

NOTE: If operating in high dust conditions, squeeze unloader valve every two hours of operation to release dust.
