Change Rear Differential Oil

causym CAUTION: Prevent possible injury from unexpected machine movement. Install machine frame locking bar.

1. Park machine on level surface.

2. Lower equipment to ground.

3. Move transmission control and park brake lever to PARK position "P".

4. Turn key switch to OFF.

5. Remove check plugs (B).

6. Remove rear axle drain plug (A).

7. Drain oil into a container. Dispose of waste oil properly.

8. Install rear axle drain plug.

9. Fill differential through check plug hole until oil flows out check plug hole.

Rear Axle 648G-III, 748G-III Oil -Capacity 48 L (51 qt) Approximate

Rear Axle 640G-III (optional), 648G-III (optional), 748G-III (optional) Oil -Capacity 50 L (53 qt) Approximate

10. Wait 5-10 minutes to allow oil level to stabilize.

11. Repeat steps 9 and 10 as necessary.

12. Install check plugs.
