Prepare Machine for Maintenance

Before performing maintenance procedures given in the following chapters, and before leaving the operator's seat, park the machine as described below unless another position is specified in the procedure.

1. Park machine on a level surface.

2. Move transmission control and park brake lever (A) to PARK position "P". Lever sleeve (B) must drop into slot of console.

3. Lower blade and grapple, if equipped, to ground.

4. Turn key switch to OFF position. (If maintenance must be performed with engine running, do not leave machine unattended.)

5. Turn steering wheel left and right to relieve hydraulic system pressure.

6. Move battery disconnect switch (A) to OFF position.
