Change Winch Oil-If Equipped

causym CAUTION: Prevent possible injury from unexpected machine movement. Install machine frame locking bar.

1. Park machine on level surface.

2. Lower equipment to ground.

3. Move transmission control and park brake lever to PARK position "P".

4. Turn key switch to OFF.

NOTE: Remove guards from rear frame near pivot if necessary to reach the winch drain hose (A). Hose is mounted to lower left corner of front of winch.

5. Route winch drain hose outside of frame.

6. Remove cap (B) and drain oil into a container. Dispose of waste oil properly.

7. Remove fill plug (C) to speed draining of oil.

8. Install cap.

9. Add oil through fill plug hole. (See Fuels and Lubricants chapter.) Oil level should be to bottom of oil fill plug hole.

Winch Oil-6000 Series -Capacity 45.5 L (12 gal) Approximate

10. Install fill plug.

11. Check oil level. Add oil if necessary.
