Starting the Engine
CAUTION:
Avoid possible injury or death from a runaway machine.
DO NOT start engine by shorting across starter terminals. Machine will start in gear if normal starting circuitry is bypassed.
This machine is equipped with a device that prevents engagement of hydraulic clutches if the engine is started "in gear". The machine will not travel in gear until transmission control and park brake lever is moved from PARK position to a gear position.
NEVER start engine while standing on ground. Start engine only from operator's seat with transmission control and park brake lever in PARK position.
Use a seat belt when you operate with a roll-over protective structure (ROPS) to minimize chance of injury from an accident such as an overturn.
1.
Fasten seat belt.
2.
Sound horn to alert bystanders.
