Keeping ROPS Installed Properly
CAUTION:
Make certain all parts are reinstalled correctly if the roll-over protective structure (ROPS) is loosened or removed for any reason.
The protection offered by ROPS will be impaired if ROPS is subjected to structural damage, is involved in an overturn incident, or is in any way altered by welding, bending, drilling, or cutting. A damaged ROPS should be replaced, not reused.
Install lock nuts (A) onto cap screws (B) until full thread engagement is achieved so nut, washers (C), and head of cap screw are flush against each clevis.
Tighten pin locking cap screws (D) to specification.
