Check Instruments Before Starting

Begin with key switch in STOP and then turn to RUN position.

NOTE: The key switch has an interlock to prevent multiple starting attempts. Once the key has been placed in the START position and back to RUN, the key must be turned to STOP before attempting to start again.

When the key switch is turned from STOP to RUN the following indicators come on:

  • Battery Voltage Indicator (A)
  • Low Engine Oil Pressure Indicator (B)
  • High Hydrostatic Oil Temperature Indicator (C)
  • Park Brake Indicator (D) (S.N. -710261 only)
  • Engine Air Filter Restriction Indicator (J)
  • Low Brake Oil Pressure Indicator (I) (Not Used)
  • Secondary Steering Indicator (H)
  • Low Speed Indicator (F) (or High Speed Indicator if speed selector is on 2 (E)

After a few seconds, the battery voltage indicator, low engine oil pressure indicator stay on, the seat belt indicator (G) and for machines (S.N. 710262- ) park brake indicator (D) come on and all other indicators turn off.
