2. Measure the accelerator pedal height (G) from the pedal base to the top of the pedal, with the pedal released. Height should be to specification.

3. Accelerator pedal at slow idle, disconnect swivel (C) on speed control cable (E). With speed control lever (A) held against the stop by the return spring (B), adjust the swivel (C) on cable (E) to align with speed control lever (A). Install swivel and tighten jam nut (D).

4. Depress accelerator pedal until injection pump lever is against the fast idle stop and hold.

5. Adjust pedal stop screw (F) until it makes contact with the pedal. Release pedal.

6. Shorten pedal stop screw.

7. If machine rpm at slow and fast idle is still not correct, see your authorized dealer.
