Change Hydraulic System Oil

1. Lower bucket to ground and stop engine.

2. Remove hydraulic reservoir breather (B) to relieve pressure and hydraulic reservoir fill cap (A).

3. Remove hydraulic reservoir drain cap (A).

NOTE: Drain hose is stored in toolbox on left side of cab.

NOTE: As hose is tightened on drain, the valve automatically opens and oil will begin to drain.

4. Place a container under drain and install drain hose on hydraulic reservoir drain.

5. Flush reservoir with diesel fuel.

6. Remove drain hose and install hydraulic reservoir drain cap.

7. Fill reservoir. (See Fuels and Lubricants chapter.)

NOTE: Pour oil slowly. The fill neck can easily overflow long before the reservoir is full, if oil is poured too fast.

8. Install hydraulic reservoir fill cap (A) and hydraulic reservoir breather (B).

9. Check hydraulic oil level in sight glass (C).

10. Run the engine for five minutes and then check oil level again.
