Service Recommendations For O-Ring Boss Fittings With Shoulder
1.
Inspect component seal boss seat for dirt or defects.
2.
Inspect EOlastic seal (A) for damage. Replace seal or fitting as necessary.
To replace seal, put electrical tape over threads to protect seal. Slide seal over tape and into seal groove of fitting. Remove tape.
3.
Tighten fitting to torque value shown on chart.
IMPORTANT:
Do not allow hoses to twist when tightening fittings.
NOTE:
The L in the Tube Fitting OD Size column indicates "light" designed fitting and the S indicates "heavy" designed fitting.
